HaystaqDNA surveyed voters in 34 states, and used those surveys to build models predicting a voter’s likely attitude toward the Tea Party. Overall, 39% of the voters surveyed had a strongly or somewhat favorable attitude toward the Tea Party. Looking just at those with a strong opinion either way, 40% of voters feel strongly favorable toward the Tea Party while 60% feel strongly unfavorable.

Each of almost 160 million voters was given a score between 0 and 100 predicting the likelihood that they would say that they have a favorable attitude towards the Tea Party.
